Verified membership
Applicants may be asked to provide a live selfie, government-issued identity document and other information reasonably required to confirm identity and eligibility.
Private by default
There is no public catalogue of profiles. After the team confirms a compatible match, both members receive only the limited details needed to prepare. Personal contact details remain private unless the applicable flow permits disclosure.
Member control
An admin-confirmed date does not require another acceptance step. Members can cancel under the rules below, send one pre-date introduction, use the attendance tools and report safety, conduct or privacy concerns.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18, legally capable of entering into a contract and provide accurate, current and complete information.
Applications and approval
Creating an account does not guarantee approval. Rendezvous may approve, reject, suspend or request further information where reasonably necessary for safety, authenticity, compliance or community quality.
Service and conduct
Rendezvous facilitates curated introductions between approved members. Members must behave respectfully, protect privacy and avoid harassment, deception, solicitation, stalking, threats or non-consensual sharing of personal information.
Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a match by a specific date, a minimum number of introductions or any relationship outcome.
Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by Luxembourg law without removing mandatory consumer protections applicable in a member's country of residence.
Privacy Policy
Data we collect
- Account and contact information.
- Age, gender, orientation and matching preferences.
- Relationship goals, lifestyle preferences and compatibility answers.
- Identity-verification information and verification outcomes.
- Booking, payment status, attendance and feedback.
- Support communications, device, security and usage information.
Purposes and legal bases
We process information to administer membership, provide introductions, process bookings, protect members, respond to requests, meet legal obligations and improve the service. Where required, we rely on consent.
Sharing, retention and rights
Information may be shared with contracted service providers required to operate the service. It is retained only as long as necessary. Subject to applicable conditions, members may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, withdraw consent and complain to the CNPD.
Pricing & Payments
Account creation and application review are free. Payment and booking are separate. Every date credit costs €9.99 and may be used to request a Thursday dinner or Saturday coffee.
Every successful payment adds exactly one date credit.
Members may buy several credits, and unused credits never expire.
A request reserves one available credit. The credit stays protected while the booking is active and is consumed after a completed date or another reviewed outcome that requires consumption. If no suitable match is available, the request closes and the credit returns to the member's available balance so it can be used for another eligible date. Food and drinks are separate and paid directly by each guest to the restaurant or café.
Credits & Cancellations
Eligible unused credits can be refunded. A credit reserved for an active date cannot be refunded until that date is cancelled. Cancelling before a match is confirmed returns the reserved credit without a reliability penalty. Cancelling a confirmed date at least 48 hours beforehand returns the credit and applies a small −1 reliability adjustment. A cancellation less than 48 hours beforehand cancels the date immediately, but the credit, refund eligibility and reliability outcome remain under review. If the late-cancellation reason is approved, the credit is returned and no late penalty is applied; if it is rejected, the credit is consumed and a −5 reliability adjustment applies. A confirmed no-show consumes the absent member's credit and applies a −15 reliability adjustment, while the attending member's credit and reliability remain protected. If Rendezvous cancels, the credit is returned without penalty. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Community Standards
- Use your real identity and accurate information.
- Respect boundaries and freely given consent.
- Do not harass, humiliate, threaten or discriminate.
- Do not publish or record another member without permission.
- Arrive on time or cancel as early as possible.
- No scams, requests for money, recruitment or commercial solicitation.
Safety Guidelines
Verification reduces risk but cannot eliminate it. Meet only at the designated public venue, arrange independent transport, tell a trusted person where you are going, monitor alcohol consumption and leave immediately if uncomfortable. In Luxembourg, call 112 in an emergency or police on 113.
Identity Verification
Verification may include document authenticity checks, age checks, a live selfie, facial comparison, fraud signals and manual review. Applicants must not submit another person's document or manipulated images.

Rendezvous facilitates introductions based on member-provided information and a personality and compatibility questionnaire. We personally review answers and dating preferences to arrange thoughtfully matched introductions. The questionnaire has no scientific validation and cannot predict relationship success. Verification, questionnaire answers and review do not guarantee character, conduct, accuracy, chemistry, safety, a soulmate or any relationship outcome.
